February 1: Pray for wisdom and strength in the life of Teresa Conley, Missouri: Northern Illinois/MBC Partnership: Please pray for Leonard Morgan and the Quad Cities Association as they prayerfully seek a man to plant an Hispanic congregation in an area of nearly 50,000 Hispanic population. Pray that God may call out some MBC church to partner in making this vision happen.
February 2: Ask God that Paige Combs, European Peoples, will have many opportunities to share about Christ in the coming year: Thank God for the ministries of Ida Mae Hays, Retired, Brazil, Bob Nowlin, NAMB Retired, Missouri and Elba Womack, Retired, St. Maarten.
February 3: Northern Ontario/MBC Partnership: Pray for Gary and Sue Smith as they lead out in this partnership from the Canadian National Baptist Convention and North American Mission Board with the MBC. Pray that God will call out MBC churches willing to be a missionary presence in a region of nearly 375,000 square miles and not one Southern Baptist church as yet.
February 4: Pray for godly wisdom in the life of Leigh Ann Petty, Louisiana: Ask for good health for Joyce Magyar, Retired, Colombia and Gwyn Page, Retired, Ukraine, for the coming year.
February 5: Pray for Diane Graham, Missouri WMU Board, as she serves as consultant for the East Central part of our state: Ask for God’s blessings on the life and ministry of John Cook, Utah.
February 6: Praise God for the life of MK Anna Babb, 20, European Peoples: Pray for MK Shelby Wofford, 18, European Peoples, as he adjusts to life in the US: Thank God for the faithful and continuing witness of Dee Dameron, Sub-Saharan African Peoples: Offer up a prayer of thanksgiving for the ministry of Wilma Fowler, NAMB Retired, Missouri.
February 7: Pray that MK Eden Jones, 3, East Asian Peoples, will see that she is an important part of God’s plan on the mission field.
February 8: Western Gateway Cluster: Pray for FBC Arnold as they have said yes to being the Engaging Church to reach the Konyagui for the Lord.
February 9: Ask the Lord to bless Margie Drane, American Peoples, with a renewed sense of urgency in sharing Christ: Pray that Wendy Wofford, European Peoples, will be a shining example of God’s grace to others today.
February 10: Say a prayer of thanksgiving for the life of MK Evelyn Fortner, 2, European Peoples: Ask God’s guidance in the life of MK Melissa Locke, 17, Sub-Saharan African Peoples, as she makes important decisions regarding her future: Pray that MK Sarah Skinner, 19, European Peoples, will adjust to life in the United States: Ask God to open doors of ministry for Carolyn Miller, European Peoples.
February 11: Pray that MK Benjamin Locke, 13, Sub-Saharan Africa Peoples, will have opportunities to minister alongside his parents: Northern Ontario/MBC Partnership: Pray that we reach and exceed our goal of 50 churches in five years as the MBC partners with the CNBC in Northern Ontario.
February 12: Pray that Nancy Skinner, European Peoples, will sense God’s presence in her life today and throughout the coming year: Pray for Kathy Karr, Colorado, as she ministers in her community: Say a prayer of thanksgiving for the faithful ministry of Bill Richardson, Retired, Romania:
February 13: Ask God for good physical health for Cheryl Compton, Retired, Senegal: Northern Illinois/MBC Partnership: Please pray for John Mattingly, DOM of Sinnissippi Association as he longs for MBC churches to partner with his 11 churches to plant new churches in a 4500 square mile area. Pray that God will call out MBC churches to partner with the Sinnissippi Association in this vision.
February 14: Pray the Christians across Missouri will show God’s LOVE to the millions of people in our state that still do not have a personal relationship with Jesus.
February 15: Praise God for the faithful ministries of Patricia Dier, NAMB Retired, Missouri, Donald McNiall, Retired, Brazil, and Carolyn Tobias, Retired, Caribbean Islands
February 16: Ask that God will surround MK Mikayla Hagen, 10, Southeast Asian Peoples, with a special sense of His love today: Pray that God will work through Donald Wilson, Louisiana, to reach the people in his community:
February 17: Say a prayer of thanksgiving for the ministry and life of Kenneth Beckner, Kansas: Western Gateway Cluster/MBC Partnership: Pray for MBC churches to be led of the Lord to partner with our IMB missionaries working in this hard region of the world.
February 18: Northern Ontario/MBC Partnership: Pray that we clearly hear from God to begin work in His prepared communities to plant house churches across Northern Ontario. The Harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few, pray the Lord of the harvest that He will send forth workers into His harvest fields.
February 19: Western Gateway Cluster/MBC Partnership: God is beginning to stir the hearts of pastors of MBC churches to get involved in the work in the Western Gateway of West Africa. Pray He will give the burden to those pastors He is calling to lead their churches to get involved in fulfilling the Great Commission in the Western Gateway.
February 20: Ask for God’s blessings in the life of Roshelia Morrow, Illinois, as she ministers in her community: Pray for physical strength and wisdom in the life of Vivian McCaughan* as she serves as Missouri WMU executive director
February 21: Thank our wonderful God for the faithful service of James E Musgrave, Jr., Retired, Brazil and Lucy Wagner, Retired, Korea: Lesotho: Pray for those missionaries serving in difficult, mountainous areas.
February 22: PR/VI: Pray for strengthening in churches throughout the Puerto Rico/ Virgin Isles. El Salvador/MBC Partnership: Pray for volunteer teams traveling to El Salvador to repair and build buildings in the wake of last years flooding.
February 23: Praise God for the ministry and life of Rick Hedger, Missouri: Pray that Gladys Warden, NAMB Retired, Texas, will be filled with the peace that passes all understanding.
February 24: Northern Illinois/MBC Partnership: Pray that God will call out MBC churches to partner in the Chicago Land area. There are 4 associations and nearly 9.3 million people. Of those 9.3 million it is estimated that 6.3 million are still lost. The opportunity is great! Our God is Huge!
February 25: Petition our Father for opportunities for Andrew Mann, New York, to share about Christ with those people whom he comes in contact with:
February 26: Pray for Brenda Beckner, Kansas, as she serves alongside her husband.
February 27: Take time today to offer up a prayer of thanksgiving for our pastors who serve throughout Missouri.
February 28: Pray for Linda Allen, Retired, Kenya, that she will have opportunities to share God’s love with others: Thank God for the ministry of Ross Thompson, Retired, Ecuador: Ask for God’s direction in the life of Vicki Brown, Missouri WMU Board: Pray for Judy Roach, Missouri, as she serves with her husband.
