WMU training set for March 24

POPLAR BLUFF –The Cane Creek Stoddard Baptist Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) will provide a regional training event March 24 at First Baptist Church here with David Groves, pastor of Living Word Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, speaking on Romania.

Registration will be at 9:30 a.m. with training lasting from 10:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. There will be several breakout sessions, and lunch will be served. Reservations must be received by March 10.

Breakout sessions include: Laura Wells on women on mission; Jackie Smith on women’s ministry; Diane Miinch on Acteens and youth; Renay VanVickle on Girls in Action and children’s ministry; Kim McNight on Mission Friends and preschool; and David and Karen Groves on how to plan and prepare a missions trip.
